Making Travel More Rewarding

Americans love to travel. However, traveling can get expensive quickly. Costs add up when paying for food, flights, hotels, and Uber/Lyft rides. We here at Loving Living Green are always searching for creative ways to save money while traveling. A unique way we have found to save money is by earning rewards at airports.

If you are a travel lover, there is nothing that sounds better than earning rewards while traveling. Especially rewards that can be applied to all aspects of your travel experience. Recently, we partnered with the Thanks Again Corporate Rewards Program, the rewards division of over 40 airports across the United States. Since we live in Atlanta, we will talk specifically about Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and its rewards program, ATL Rewards. However, if this is not your airport, never fear! You can accrue points at any of the participating airports you visit, and they will be added onto your rewards earning account. Loving Living Green’s partnership is our way of saying THANK YOU to our blog followers and subscribers!

Earning Free Travel and Dining

We became interested in Thanks Again and ATL Rewards because our family travels by different methods of transportation over 100 days per year. With the Thanks Again program, you earn a point for each dollar spent at airports, such as parking, dining, and purchasing those last minute souvenirs. These points can be redeemed for various rewards ranging from miles and points to cash back, rideshare credits, and gift cards. With the corporate rewards program, a group of participants linked to a specific employer or group can enjoy many perks for joining, such as a signup bonus and double points opportunities throughout the year. Even more exciting, they are adding retailers, attractions, service providers, parking, and other external rewarding options as we speak.

If you are thinking… “Brandi, my employer doesn’t offer airport rewards, why are you telling me this?” don’t worry. Our partnership with Thanks Again gives followers of our blog the corporate perks of the program just for being subscribers to Loving Living Green. As we told you or you will see when you subscribe, we will never share your data with any third party; your information is private. We have the ability to audit members under the program to make sure that subscribers continue to receive their Thanks Again benefits.

What Kinds of Free Travel Can I Earn by Participating?

  • Uber and Lyft rides
  • Airline Miles
  • Cash Back
  • Uber and Lyft Credits
  • Amazon gift cards
  • Awards of Choice (over 500 gift cards available with this option)

We are most excited about the Uber and Lyft rides. Since Uber and Lyft rides do not require as many points, you and I can both earn free or discounted rides quickly and easily. When traveling by plane, having the opportunity to take Uber or Lyft to and from the airport is so helpful. Earning Uber and Lyft credits also help us avoid rental cars when traveling around cities and towns.

  4. I had no idea this rewards program was even a thing! I will definitely check it out and see if it is offered in my area. Thanks for telling me about this, Brandi!
